We all talk about care, well-being, social design, and putting people in the center of our projects, but what does care mean in the world of design? How can a designer be a care activist and use design as a tool to communicate and generate change?

Tic, tac. Valentina is slow. He likes to see how ice cream melts and how the flowers in his house grow. Tic, tac. Alonzo goes fast. He likes to go on a scooter and cut pepperoni at high speed. They seem to have nothing to do with each other. But what happens
when two opposite poles meet?

Fani has a date. She arrives at the bar early, but she is not ready. It’s too early, too late, doesn’t wear her hair well ... Any excuse is a good excuse to check out.
Well, maybe not “anyone”.

It's all green. Everything green. The world has always been green, so why are we painting it gray lately? The industrial revolution, concrete, pollution, wrappers for your banana (for fruit, don't get us wrong)... What happens if we divert our gaze to another perspective? Towards the green side of things?
We are Javi and Iru, we invite you to hug the Pachamama and to see the green side of things!

LikeDiabetes is an application that aims to be a virtual space for people with diabetes. The main goal is not to make the disease visible, but to the people who live with it. The app is a meeting point for the community, facilitating the link and the exchange of concerns. It also offers educational material based on scientific evidence and the tools that accompany the patient in daily decision-making. Given that diabetes is a chronic disease and that its treatment falls on the final decisions of those who suffer from it, it is estimated that more than 30 decisions a day.
Its strong point is to provide a space where the emotions involved in living with this disease take place, and provide them with resources to listen to and manage them. The focus is on mental health care, which is often invisible to purely medical consultations.

A speculative project developed on a university campus with no bins, where students wear their waste as a symbol of awareness and a way to collect their new possible materials. It wants to break with lineal materials, overconsumption, and overproduction systems. Wake up, this is an emergency. To "put trash up" starts changing your mind, perspective, and habits.
